I would like to thank you for your support during the Primary Election. Finishing just a few votes short of first place is sending a message we need “A Refreshing New Approach to City Government.” As a lifelong resident and businessman of Orem, I can make a difference for the Citizens of Orem.
For those of you who don’t know my background, here is a brief summary:
■ I am a lifetime Orem resident.
■ I graduated from BYU with a BA in Communications.
■ I was the publisher of The Orem–Geneva Times newspaper for over 30 years.
■ I am currently the Student Media Coordinator at UVU.
■ I am married to Becky Littlefield and have 4 children.
I have had extensive involvement and affiliation with community organizations including the following:
■ Coached Orem baseball, little league to high school (12 yrs)
■ Baseball Commissioner (2 yrs)
■ Orem Summerfest Commission (Chair 2006)
■ Orem Recreation Commission (Chair 1999)
■ Orem Jaycees, Sertoma & Kiwanis
■ Orem/Provo Chamber member – 30 yrs

▪ Master Editor & Publisher of the Year (2003)
■ Utah Valley Community College (now UVU) Foundation Board
■ Mountain View High School Foundation Board
